TI is now trying to figure out what to do its former DRAM joint venture with Hitachi, called TwinStar Semiconductor in Richardson, Texas.

In February, the two companies announced that they would discontinue the joint venture with TI agreeing to buy Hitachi's 36.4 percent interest. “We haven't yet decided what to do with TwinStar in the long term,” said the company spokeswoman.
